The AG Neovo monitors provide us with the flexibility required to display multiple sources, and their robust design makes them ideally suited to the demanding conditions at sea.

Fishing vessels operate in harsh conditions, and their equipment must continue to function through changing weather and sea states. In the wheelhouse, reliable access to visual information is essential for the crew to monitor onboard systems throughout their work.
For the newly built fishing vessel Bernt Oskar, IMES AS in Norway and Vest-El A/S in Denmark joined forces to deliver an integrated multi-screen monitoring installation tailored to the vessel’s requirements.
The installation was carried out by Vest-El A/S, a Danish specialist in the sale, installation and servicing of maritime electrical and electronic systems, and a long-standing AG Neovo partner.

The wheelhouse required a display system capable of bringing together multiple information sources, making efficient use of the available space, and withstanding the physical demands of life at sea.
The key requirements were:
– Flexible monitoring: Display multiple input sources simultaneously across several screens.
– Durability: Withstand the harsh marine environment, including potential physical impacts in rough seas.
– Continuous operation: Support 24/7 use during vessel operations.
– Easy maintenance: Provide screen surfaces that are easy to clean.
AG Neovo’s QX Series was chosen for its four-input split-screen functionality, 24/7 design and robust construction.
Each monitor can display up to four input sources at once, while its metal housing and NeoV™ Optical Glass provide physical protection and make cleaning straightforward.
To manage the multi-screen installation, the project team integrated FMCS (Florvaag Monitor Control System) from Florvaag AS, a matrix- and software-based solution for monitor control. FMCS manages the signals and configures the monitors, enabling the crew to make full use of the QX Series’ display capabilities.
The installation consists of seven AG Neovo QX Series monitors in the vessel’s wheelhouse:
Florvaag’s FMCS manages monitor configuration and signal distribution. Combined with the QX Series’ four-input split-screen functionality, the system can display up to 28 source views across the seven monitors.

On board Bernt Oskar, the combination of AG Neovo’s QX Series and Florvaag’s FMCS provides the crew with a flexible monitoring setup designed for the realities of working at sea:

The Bernt Oskar installation demonstrates how AG Neovo’s QX Series and Florvaag’s FMCS work together to support multi-screen monitoring on board a modern fishing vessel.
Through the collaboration between IMES AS, Vest-El A/S and Florvaag AS, the project delivers flexible signal viewing, continuous operation and durable display design in one integrated marine monitoring system.
