Miracast is a wireless display standard that lets you mirror your screen (video + audio) from one device to another — kind of like a wireless HDMI cable, and is supported by Windows PCs and some Android phones and tablets.
Miracast uses Wi-Fi Direct technology so it doesn’t need internet or a router to share your screen. Plus the Windows laptop has this built-in function, so it is a great solution for anyone to share his screen to Meetboard.
You need to enable Miracast for the first time use since it asks for location permission.
Enable Miracast (*first time use only)
- Open setting from side menu

- Enable Wi-Fi, but don’t connect to any of them. If connected, please click in and forget the network.

- Click Settings in Montage

- In Network & Connections, Click Miracast and turn on the option

- Enable the location permission

- Allow Montage to access the device’s location while using the app

- Go back to Wi-Fi setting and reconnect the network

- Now you can see Miracast is supported in Montage homepage

- Open Montage
Open Montage app on Meetboard
- Search Device on Windows
Press Win + K key (
&
) on laptop key board to search devices around.
Then select the device with same session ID as on Meetboard.
- Accept on Meetboard
Accept the invitation to connect on Meetboard
- Share Screen
You should see your screen now is being sharing on Meetboard
