AG Neovo displays informing and entertaining millions on the modern Arlanda Express.

At a Glance - Transport Company of the Year
International air travel can be very frustrating, especially trying to get to and from unfamiliar airports with unpredictable rush hour traffic and unexpected delays due to weather, accidents or highway repairs.

The Arlanda Express, Sweden's train-to-plane solution, is a high speed rail link connecting downtown Stockholm with Arlanda Airport, which is 42 km (26 miles) from the city centre. The bullet train departs Arlanda Airport 4–6 times per hour and its cruising speed reaches up to 210 km/h (130 mph) during the comfortable 20-minute journey. Onboard throughout the carriages, attractive AG Neovo displays provide travel information and entertainment for the passengers.

A-Train AB is the company formed by the Arlanda Link Consortium in 1993 to finance, build and then operate the Arlanda Express railway line upon its completion in 1999. A-Train does not view the Arlanda Express simply as train transportation in the traditional sense. Instead, the management team at A-Train regard the rail link as an extension of the passenger's flight. In that respect, the Arlanda Express provides its customers with the same high level of service, comfort and considerations as the airlines. The government's motivation for building the rail link was to facilitate future growth at Arlanda, while limiting the total emissions of the airport to the environment. The Arlanda Express uses clean, quiet electric trains because they are nearly emission-free.

In 2002, A-Train was voted Transport Company of the Year and, during the same year, the Arlanda Express was named a Good Environmental Choice by the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation.

The Environment - Dare to be Different
In 2005, A-Train first started thinking about creating entirely new interiors for the train carriages, it was agreed right from the start that they wanted the Arlanda Express to stand out and dare to be a little different. Instead of finding an industrial designer, the A-Train management team wanted to collaborate with companies that could give new perspectives and, more importantly, shared the same passion for the project as they did.

For the interiors of the trains, A-Train selected the Björn Borg fashion label. With the help of Björn Borg's designers, seven different designs were created in terms of colours and patterns. By having different colours or patterns in each train the Arlanda Express gives its passengers new experiences on each trip.
